I'm playing the H5 Mod 5.66b. Eastern Orange opponent never moves from his original spot no matter what I try (Hard or Normal, many restarts). It looks like you can slip past him, but you can't.

I hate the time limit maps as well.

The Neutral stack growth is fast in this mission, so Anastaysa and Tanis will have trouble winning without losses after a couple of weeks. There was no boat in my first run of this mission, and thus I can't get the last piece of the Blade. I'll try another run.

Playing this last faction, I find the "random" Diplomacy the most frustrating part of VII. Just when I think I've got it figured out, it confounds me. Even loading old saved games to save money for a set of troops does not guarantee I'll be offered those same troops the second time around.

I played through a second time with a Normal difficulty instead of the Custom difficulty I used the first time. On Normal the Cyclops disappeared when I captured the fort.

I'm stuck. Even after taking the fort, the Cyclops bombard me when I try to get to the last whirlpool. I've tried both leaving the fort broken and restoring it. I used a different trick to beat Johari. I fought her with just several dozen Gargoyles I had gathered from here and there. It was my hero damage against her damage. I was fortunate she didn't have a sizeable army.

I used this same technique is subsequent Necropolis maps.

I finished this mission, M4. It says I completed it successfully, but it takes me back to the mission screen with only M1 enabled. That's pretty harsh for having successfully completed the mission!
