How do you get by the blue ghost? I killed the mecenaries and the ghost said when I was ready he would be there. So how do get by him?

Recently I had a HD crash and have attempted to install the three disk Epic collection of Heroes V TOE, HOF and V. Do I need to install all the patches for V or did TOE include all the patches? After installing the disks I am unable to play the original and HOF campaigns. Any suggestions?

This is an old thread, but I've captured all towns and forts. I have not been able to trigger getting the otme of sieges or progress further, any suggestions?

If any are reading this I'm stuck. I have capture/converted all four towns on mainland. I was looking for the zip(?) file to install in the campaign folder.

I forgot to indicate that I have all of the disks H5, HOF, TOE.
Would in better to uninstall and then install H5, apply patches, install HOF, install TOE and apply 3.1 patch?
Just curious about that procedure would be better or just leave well enough and down load the links listed by Pol?

I didn't think H6 was able to be edited/modified. Tell me more if it is.

I have edited these files a while back, but can't remember which files contain the bonus selections for the campaigns.
Would someone direct me to the correct folder/file that controls these bonuses?

I too have a similar problem. I downloaded a map and put into the map folder, but the game can't find it. Yes both boxes are checked.

I know this is a stupid question, however, I downloaded the file and put the map into the maps folder. When I start the game and go to custom games it isn't listed as one of the map choices.
What did I do wrong or what do I do to get it into the list of available maps?

Re-installed after replacing the HDD. After installing the game and patch 3.1 the game doesn't run, giving me an error d3dx9_25.dll is missing. Does anyone know which was supposed to install the dll, the program or the patch? Where does it belong system32 in a Win 7 OS? Thanks

I'm not sure exactly, but you have to meet with family members on a little strip of land east of the town. Once you do that the path will open.
