Since usefulness of Magic is dependant on the availability of spells and Magic Skills I'd give points for the availability of spells first: Light gets 4 points (fully and guaranteed available in 4 towns) Destructive gets 4 1/2 (fully available in 4 towns plus 1/2 for Academy) Dark gets 3 1/2 points...

it's still very possible to make a destructive magic based warlock who will dominate all but the most insanely sized armies. Yeah... it's great... if you're a Warlock... and even then Implosion kills about 30 lvl 7's per cast... at lvl 30 you can have a Ballista kill around 9 per turn with the righ...

Reinforcements should arrive after you have taken the Dungeon town. I think you have triggered the Kujin bug - reinforcements wont come & Gotai runs around the map. You should have not let Kujin died.

I remembered now, I also would love to see the next Heroes to have a 3D combat field. A 3D field like that in Final Fantasy Tactics. Even with the current engine, this should not be too hard.

Yes me too, I personally would take Summoning as second after Dark. I find Blade Barrier very useful specially on the early parts of the game. it's all too situational to comment. Try thinking about a week 2 rush from a 15 spell power warlock. One Meteor Shower will simply waste all your army and you can spend casting all the mass slows and confusions you want... it won't make any difference. Good day. So which do u think?

I personally think Dark Magic is strongest (Mass Slow, Mass Confusion, Frenzy, Vampirism, & Puppet Master). I think Destructive is weakest.
