Also, players on left and right sides I think are universally a mistake, pretty common among cRPGs of the time Dont think that is too much of an issue. Really minor bug but I noticed that even with latest greyface patch, completion text for black endurance potion quest in Ironsand displays text for luck potion instead.

Seems they were removed from actual drop list. Still, the item have description left in some code as it is extracted by people who upkeep wiki. Well its not first or last loose end in mm series , like the crown in mm8

Dont think any game with "open" in the name and such remakes are ever made with being "commercial success " in mind. All those games are fans making stuff for other fans. Unfortunately TES player base is bigger, and have better tools to have better creativity.

Since pointer is integrated in minimap and its always aligned top/north unlike GTA where map rotates, compass is kinda redundant aside of aesthetic purposes, which nevertheless is important as seen pn MM9 where minimalist interface just kills any mood that's left in the game.

I of course can be wrong as i am not modding MM games but I would bet thats a feature of engine same as physics ,clipping issue etc the game have , which I wouldn't expect to be fixed without rewriting engine. Guess this is never really explained that tight but can consider that elemental planes are as large as material one (i.e size of cosmic universe), so opening it would place you in different space of same plane. Its not like whole water plane is 1x1 km map we see in mm8 That of course opens questions...

Not really. It's possible to kill a dragon with only bows and smooth turning with no death at all but it is more time consuming and require a lot more coordination. Tress is right.., turning smooth gives you no chances but a quick death. That's how it works in all giant slayings. I did notice that you were turning left or right pretty fast in the game. In case you weren't aware, you can change it by going into Options and setting "Turn Rate" to "Smooth". I am pretty sure this is done on purpose as you need to quickly turn and shoot in this particular fig...

In my experience dragon range attack is relatively slow and can be dodged and with full team of bows it can be done. Malwick wand of course makes it bit more easy and saves a little bit time.

Pretty sure there is few project like that. If you check this forum, there is pinned thread with "total remake" which basically is just that, think last commit was just a couple month ago so its not complitelly dead yet. Of course MM community(specially modding) is barely a faction of what...

Unlike original game, campaigns are not related story wise (there may be vague mentions but that about it). Note that difficulty spike from original or even SOD is immense, and campaigns like dragon slayer is basically puzzle on how good you are with abusing game mechanics.

Disarm and Perception values for (i think) hardest dungeon - estacon crystal was 40 . Master triples skill so you would need 14 (including items , so base 10 + 10 item or similar) to pass those values. Dont remember what was value for ID artifacts but probably around same value. Payday 2 was really good. I think it still have community and it currently its in its final form with no more ever releasing DLCs and you can buy it for reasonable price. Also it has evolved alot since release with campaign mode and other stuff.
