I've just reinstalled MM7 and version 2.0 of the patch. The sum total of the ini reads:

Forgive me if this has been answered before: I've been playing MM7 for a few days, the Gog version, and read about this patch. I'm on Windows 7 and would love the mouselook feature. Q&A with Arkane Studios
Being foremost a crpg fan, I've decided not to buy any M&M games until Might and Magic X is released. If it gets released, I'll go back and buy Dark Mesiah and HoMM V. Gotta support my genre over all others
