300 was terrible, though also terribly fun. The dialogue sounded like something lifted from a high school scriptwriting workshop. Great action sequences, though. Glad I didn't pay to see it.

Next up, I'll be seeing the Korean horror flick entitled "The Host".

I detailed what resolved this issue in a separate thread . I don't have the the Equilibris mod installed, though their version of the campaign editor works just dandy. The H4 campaign editor is excellent. Yes, it is. When it's actually working it's just swell. Though it could do with an autosave fea...

Steven Segal is about what, 65 now? And remarkably puffy. I think my 95-pound niece could kick his ass. The fighting moves he uses in all of his films can be easily countered by anyone with reflexes that are faster than a sloth.

I love when they try to pull the "you must update your ebay information through this link" scam. What makes it amusing to me is that I don't have an ebay account. I used to get those, along with PayPal ones, all the time. I'd like to be part of a special task force that tracks those basta...

A few days ago it was 20ºC, and this morning it was 1°C and it snowed a bit.

A-ha! Problem solved. I just installed the Equilibrium campaign editor and it works fine. Bless their hearts--I was seriously considering buying the Mac version of Heroes IV for my iMac.

Ok, would someone mind sending me their Heroes 4 map editor?

More specifically, the Heroes IV "Campaign Editor". Mine still isn't working despite a reinstall! How aggravating! It's WoW, version 3.0.0.0. Cripes, what happened to this thing? It just crashes every time I attempt to open it, and none of my tricks have worked. This all began while I was ...

Cotswold is perhaps my favorite, but it's so expensive here (around $18/lb). In England it's a modestly-priced pub cheese.

Heroes IV Campaign Editor: SUCK.

Wow. How often can this thing quit on me? I need to save my map every 20 seconds it seems. Auto-save feature? Ha. Other than the VERY frequent application errors it's a very nice program! :tired: Edit: Now the damn editor won't even load. Every time I try to open it I get a fatal app. error. Time to...

I was rooting for Portugal. No particular reason, other than that it would've been nice for a non-powerhouse team to win it all. I like baseball, but agree about NASCAR. I have no desire to spend three hours watching a bunch of rednecks drive around in a circle. Though I do enjoy watching the accide...

I was snacking on a red anjou pear (perhaps the tastiest pear in the world) and a Babybel mini-cheese. Separately. Boy do I love a good cheese, made even better with a good beer or wine.

@Beelzebubba You look like a soccer fan. I'm American, so that's not allowed. :disagree: Actually, when I was a kid we had the NASL and I was a soccer fanatic, but the league disbanded in the mid-80s. I still watch World Cup play--as many matches as I can--and occasionally catch a European match wh...

I studied Hungarian (by myself, because I seriously considered teaching English in Budapest a few years back), Chinese (one term) and Japanese (two years). Three of the most difficult languages in the world to learn, I'd say. Hungarian pronunciation killed me, while Chinese requires one to learn som...

Heroes IV is still the most beautiful game in the series. The landscapes, the terrain objects, the castles, the creatures...it doesn't look at all dated despite being in its fifth year. Heroes V doesn't look bad; I just prefer the look and feel of IV (esp. at maximum resolution). I never tire of exp...
