Hey guys :) Now that Heroes VI is finally announced, I guess it's about time for me to come out of the closet, so to speak. So here you have it: I'm a part of Ubi's team, having been hired roughly one year ago to work on the level design for the game (among other things). - The Gamescom demo was pr...

I hope this proves a popular mod, and it encourages him to make one for M&M VIII as well :)

You could try looking on some of the sites that specialise in very old games, somewhere like Hotu is as good as place as any to try.

I think they may anounce it this year with maybe a late/christmas release if they get it ready in time, next year if they don't, after the fuss over bugs in HoMM V and Dark Messiah, they might just take the time to make it right first time. I take it all this speculation is based on hints that Fabri...

I still have both, the first was much more fun than the second, the graphics were far better in 2 though, I still play both sometimes if I feel like some uncomplicated fun. :)

They could have done worse than go the 3d route that the Settlers series took with the release of Settlers 5, Heritage of kings and the 2 expansions, most players still treat that as a 2d isometric unless they need to rotate the view or zoom in to spot something.

I rate Rise of Nations as an ideal spare half hour game, you can play a map in that time at normal settings and still win fairly easily. It's also the only one of the "stone age to space age" games I enjoy, I usually lose interest after medieval times, I like my RTS games to be swords and ...

ive had stonghold 1 for a long time and i played stronghold 2 at friend's place once, but i must say 3d ruined it. if the 2d of sh1 had been improved so theres no vision problems when buildings are in front of you, it would have been better. also, the beginning movie of sh1 was really great. in sh2...

Is it Stronghold 1 or 2 you have? Stronghold 2 became even more management biased than the original.

One very good thing about Stronghold is the very easy to use map editor, one of the most user friendly I've seen. :-D

The long term forecast for the UK, earlier in the year, was that we would have a very cold winter this year, so far, here in the North East of England, the weather has been very windy and wet, but only a couple of nights where it was cold enough for a slight frost. At the moment it`s cold, but that`...

Well you do have companions, one of which you get right at the start, he`s an annoying little skull that acts as an advisor, but he can help out in other ways too and don`t worry about dying, you`re already dead, that`s the whole point, you wake up on a slab with no memory. You can get killed but yo...

October `88 and December`88 brought back some memories, October for the "Zack McKracken and the Alien Mindbenders" review and December for the "Pool of Radiance" and "Heroes of the Lance" reviews. I went out and bought the games after reading the reviews, I even bought ...

Planescape Torment is better. IMO, the best PC game, ever :) I`m in complete agreement there, much as I love Baldur 1&2, Planescape is simply awsome in terms of plot and the gameplay is just great. I really must make a start on Throne of Baahl though, I`ve been meaning to play it for ages, afte...
