Here's a new question in light of the latest round of Grexit worries. While ordinary people obviously have trouble counterfeiting money, surely an entity with the resources of the United States can do this. Therefore, why can't Greece keep itself afloat by printing euros (ECB be damned), and why ca...

I agree with u. Sometimes playing hoMM V+ felt like playing TBS version of Warcraft. Dunno if this can happen, but for me the design of HoMM 2-4 should be considered. I mean, sure, the world of Ashan is different, but who ever felt comfortable fighting in such gears like they wore in HoMM V-VI ? Esp...

Re: My evaluation of the creatures of homm3

Cyclop king Well, at least it shoots i guess. Looses to most units. The main problem is that their dwelling requires crystals and you have to chose between cyclops and behemoths. The latter always wins and cyclops are underused and therefore underrated. That too, but i also find them quite underwhe...

Creature's strength really depends on the map setting where said creature is going to be used. Sure, some of them do seem a no-brainer for balance purpose. Regardless, can't say if there is any definite pointers for any creature's relative strength vs others.

I remember playing this map. But I don't remember how I beat it though. Regardless, I never pass a chance of power ups for heroes. Perhaps that's the key ?

Well, if they make the Dungeon like Beastmen faction in Master of Magic, it would actually be pretty cool. I'm not sure if they are going to actually continue the lore from Heroes V-VI, but Inferno/Demon seem more like Outsiders to me. Sure, they come here and there, perhaps by conjurations. But ent...

Because he kept the gogs and fiends on the field ? I'm not sure, but it seems the mission to Zod was supposed to be a covert thing. The Kreegans shouldn't aware or properly prepared against a group of infiltrators.

Everyone has gone MMO today. The money involved is huge. Especially the pay-to-play ones. Like WoW. Even the so called freemiums like Candy Crush is still more lucrative. Last PC RPG of any note is Skyrim. A good game. Not sure anyone will make anything like that anymore. I like to play PC RPGs too....

Morglin made that tradition by himself. Unfortunately no one would care (otherwise there would be no Succession War).

Must be cause Kreegans actually are not one, but multiple and various. The ones in Might and Magic stories might not be the ones in Heroes saga. Although they are all Kreegans.

To describe my impression of AoW1: 1. Getting or fighting high tier units is a big deal 2. Races are diverse and some units have unique abilities that can be very nasty if used right (i.e. immunity to physical attack, flying shooters, posession, etc) 3. There are unique map locations that are a ver...

You confused love with attraction (physical or otherwise) and marriage. These 3 things can be together, but they're not the same nor one is a precedent of the other.

At best a troll is a replacement for knight. But it offers not that much different gameplay/advantage to worth the effort all the time. The only thing good with troll is the promotion to war troll requires no fight at all is perhaps the easiest one.

While it was HoMM2 along with King's Bounty that tied me with the Heroes series, I'll say HoMM3 is the one I liked most. Not only the balance between factions were so much better, but the varieties of gameplay, strategies and tactics were also so much more than the previous sequel. These provide vir...
