cant get timed evetn to work in homm 4 equi.

hi folks. i have made a few timed events for some towns that nither i or the computer players own. it dells with the garrison. what i have done is on the first day a certian number of creatures get added to the garrison. now i have it to repeat but for some reason i cant get it to work.. basicly do i have run it on nobady for it to work correctly. and if i do how do i get said event to work if i or the computer take control of said town.

Perhaps you could try to do the same by putting an Triggerable Event and trigger it with a global Timed Event.

I'm not sure I got the question right, but you could make a timed event that triggers a triggerable event every so often like so:

Timed event name: "Give_those_damn_creatures" (or any other name you'd like)

Trigger event "add_creatures_to_garrison"


Triggerable event (under the town you want it to trigger): "add_creatures_to_garrison"

Give creatures (lalalala)



You could build in a condition for it to trigger under the triggerable event so it'll only trigger when neutral owns the town, or neutral and computer. What ever you'd like.
