DWARF BRIDGES in H5 TOE

Unread postby sgr_kaus » 22 Jan 2008, 15:53

Hello, I don't know if this problem is related with the down subterra objects hidden in the editor...
I have the editor (I suppose the 3.0, the one with TOE basic installation), when I'm trying to build a dwarf bridge at the subterranean, the bridge appears at the top of the screen, it doesnt adjust to terrain, it appears 'flying' over it....

I reinstalled the game, the last editor worked well for me with that objects, and I don't remember what I have to do in order to fix that!

Heeeeeelp =) !

Unfortunately, Nival removed the "Abyss" objects in one of the patches...

See http://deep.phpwebhosting.com/~paradox/ ... =569&st=15
for the method to get them back. Or download my downobjects mod.

(Don't click on the link directly it won't work... you have to replace elrath.co.uk/... by deep.phpwebhosting.com/~paradox/... )

Here is the link to the .pak file.

I've downloaded the pak, it works, the arena objects appears, but, there isnt the problem, I have the problem with de bridge segments located in subterra objects, when I select a bridge segment for instance it appears flying over the underground......

You select the bridge segment and not the down_bridge segment. the dwarf bridge are bugged and always fly at the top of your screen.

Sorry guys but I'm newer here. I downloaded neckies downobjects.mod, the one labeled downobjects.pak how do I extract the files you talk about. Do I need another special extraction program, if so where would I get it. I've already checked around online and can't find it.

you have to put the .pak file in your HOMM 5/data directory. You can open the file with winrar but there is no need to.
