You should be able to open the ZIP file using Windows. Simply extract the H5M file to the Maps folder under your Heroes V directory (create one if needed). The map will then appear in the game's map list.

Soz, I'm new to the game too. I'd like to find out how to get the maps I've downloaded to play.

So, the above post refers to a map folder. Where is this folder and, should I not have it, where should it be made? Also, what is the exact name I should give it?

The only folders I have in my Heroes V folder are:

Bin
Music
Video
Data
Profiles
Hwcursors
Registration

-=-=-=-

So you can see, I don't have a maps folder. Where would it go? I'd really like to start playing the new maps.

Also, where can I find the Map Maker program?

Thanks all.

You create that folder yourself. Or try launching the map editor, which comes with patch 1.3 and 1.4, and let it create the folder automatically. Extract all maps that you download in that folder.
