Questions without squares?

Unread postby Mace the Councillor » 20 Mar 2006, 14:51

I know this can be done but I can't remember how. Does anyone know how to make an Ask Question script with new lines in it that does not have those annoying square symbols?

I'm not entirely sure, but I think you need to use the export text function.
Then open the .txt file with notepad and search for \r\n then replace it with \n\n
Finally import the text back into the editor.

Edit: Just checked it - you need only remove the \r so that the linebreak now just reads \n.

On the rare occation that I get those... I just go into the dialog box edit and back space over the last space or return and then the last letter. Type it back and you're good to go. Never knew where the little squares were coming from as I don't use the 'import text' function...

Thanks for the help, folks!

EDIT: I tried it out and it worked for me, too.
