[H4] Event "Bonuses" Pop-up Problem

Hi Folks,

First post here. Great site!

I'm working on my first attempt at a map in HOMM IV Standard, and am having a problem. As I add in event scripts which give and take away objects, skills, or resources, they work fine in the game but they do not display that pop up that says "You have learned X" or "You have found Y artifact" or "You have gotten 1000 gold" (however they are usually worded). The only thing telling you that you've gotten these items is the text triggered by the event.

For example, when I test it out and run into an event that gives the hero an Apprentice's Handbook, it shows the text that goes with the event, but does not tell you you've gotten the artifact, as if you'd picked one up off the adventure map. Of course if you go and check the hero's inventory the book is there.

So, how do I fix this!

Instead of using the 2nd tab to insert text, use the 3rd tab. Add an event DISPLAY TEXT in which you type the text. And add to that a 'subaction' of for instance giving an artifact.
