HoP and Yurian's heroic pose

Unread postby Yurian Stonebow » 30 May 2011, 10:34

The main "axis" of the Heroes III "Masters of Sighisoara" project,
Yurian Stonebow (wearing a Team Sweden Football shirt) and
HeroOfPunk (wearing and old style Finnish national sports shirt and holding the original box set version of Heroes III: Restoration of Erathia)

Note the Iron Maiden poster and the computer screen! :)
(HoP is a huge fan of both, the Maiden and Heroes)

Pictured here is version 0.90 of map 3 from Masters of Sighisoara II: The Undead of Xerphef. Please note that it's a late demo version and from the map editor, not an in-game screenshot. In this map the player will be leading the forces of the Undead against Castle and Rampart.

That pic kinda looks like a POTD candidate to me ... ;)

Speaking about the "crazy Photos", you may want to check these out. ;)

Pic 1.

Rock'n Roll! We just walked around the Gothenburg city center, had some pints and a good laugh. Nothing serious. :D He's a great guy to hang out with. That's me, Yurian on the left and HoP (Max) is on the right.

Here's the second photo.

HeroOfPunk and Yurian Stonebow in a lovely park near the Gothenburg City centre in May 2011. We raced the stairs up and had a bet who'd come out with the winning record time. HoP beat me to it by some seconds. I blame it on the alcohol :-D (oh, those are long stairs indeed...)

This is the third photo from the Magical and Mysterious Gothenburg Trip.

Pictured here are "three of a kind" Yurian, HoP and the local bartender. I had some pints while waiting my friend HoP to arrive. The beer was great and the weather was nice. What more could one possibly ask for. Good friends and good beer are just about it if you ask me. ;)

Special announcement

Unread postby Yurian Stonebow » 19 Jul 2011, 11:15

Greetings All,

I'm pleased to let you know that we, the Team, have now prepared version 0.75 of the Masters of Sighisoara II campaign to be tested by the general audience (this means by all of you).

Now listen very carefully for I will say this only once:

I will personally send a perfectly legal, never before used Heroes VI beta test code for the first person to send us a detailed report of the Heroes III MoS II campaign version 0.75. Act quickly for this offer will not last long! Contact me, Yurian, for more information, and of course to get your copy of the campaign file we're asking you to test.

Revised version of MoS II 0.75 has been sent to Salamandre via email.
Any others? Remember that we are still offering you a perfectly legal and free Heroes VI Beta access code which, as you have read, was rejected by Salamandre.

Guess whos back? Currently writing up a MASSIVE story bit for the last map (which can be found in a quest givers hut), you will learn alot from this story piece, grand stuff!

Is there still people out there waiting for a new campaign? What date is Halloween? I think it would be quite fitting to release this campaign around then?

EDIT: Just finished the storypiece. Now heading out for a while and will either continue working on it this weekend or on monday, gotta say I really like the quest giver in map 5! He will teach you alot if you just get what he wants! :)

Final testing sessions before release at Halloween

Unread postby Yurian Stonebow » 20 Oct 2011, 23:07

Greetings everyone, (no I didn't say Hail Mayon the Moon god)

Work on MoS II continues despite our past failed attempts to release the campaign on a date previously thought to be the release day. The Team is now planning to release the campaign on Halloween, October 31st, that is.

We are confident and unshaken in our faith that the Second Sighisoara campaign will successfully expand and continue the series while staying true to the one and only style it truly deserves - quality.

Earlier today I finished reading through HeroOfPunk's new story material (which is quite impressive) and will soon embark on a quest to continue where he left and seamlessly add his story bits to mine and together these texts shall form a solid basis for the release version.

Dhalgren17 reports having moved onto the last map of the campaign, called The Pirate Cove, which means that we, the Team, shall soon enjoy reading his remarks about the whole work itself. We wish him all the best as he faces the final challenges in the last chapter of the Masters of Sighisoara II: The Undead of Xerphef campaign. His reports (along with those of Koni's in the past) have produced seemingly minor but at the same time important changes into the gaming mechanics of the campaign. I wish to thank both for their services. Good work, gentlemen! :)

If you, dear Heroes fan reading this, haven't tested any of the so far released pre-release versions, please contact me, Yurian, to get your copy of version 0.9x for testing purposes. We continue to polish the work based on our testers' reports, so everyone, please keep 'em coming.

You may contact me at olavi_valimaki (at) hotmail.com or by sending me private message here on the CH forums. Your PM must contain an email address to which you'd like to have the campaign file sent to.

Ask for more! :)

By the power of the Zelas
