I think all of them are good, I like the idea of the HoMM III slave driver (nice abs ;)), but also the HoMM V monstrosity with its tattered wings and hunched poise. Voted HoMM V Pit Lord.

Hard to choose, but i went for the H5 pit lord. Looks cool with the fire :). But i must say that neither of them sucks so they are all winners...

I like the H3 idea better than the H5 idea of the creatures. I especially like the whip more than a sword. So, the H3 Pit Lord wins it for me, but the others are pretty great-looking too.

Heroes 5 Pit Lord all the way. Looks a lot more menacing than a sunburned guy wearing a loin cloth.
And the chickens. Those damn chickens.

Oh, I can surely imagine, how much sun they get in the dephts of hell.
I think they have the funniest "ass-scratching" animation in all the H3.

Voted: H3 Pit Lord

The H5 ones look too much like cerberi or some other canine creature.

I'm going for the H5 Pit Lord because it looks a little more "balroggy" to me.

Wraith Tolkien should sue...

H3 Lord... it's the whip... he's the Indiana Jones of the Inferno.

H3 Pit Lord

If it wasn't for the craptastic wings of H5s', I probably would have gone with one of them.

I actually like the "wings" and am glad they are "wings" rather than wings. ;) Much more fitting somehow.

Havent changed much the unreasonable [...] comments against H5 creatures here I see.

Mod note: edited for language. Please use proper language! -Milla

Theres a reason those pit beasts wings are upside down, its a symbol against everything thats good and "right", signs of twisted souls aspects and such. Same with the weapons of the angels and the devils.

Voted H5 Pit Lord of course, the H3 are sunbaked, dry and looks like Tanga Jon strikes back. Ass scratching mongrels indeed. Their design or whip aint actually frightening ;|
The reason I voted the Pit Lord H5 style, is cause of the nice color contrasts, a body model that really shows strenght, the infernal fire and not to forget the badass vorpal sword :-D

BTW whats the point in such polls when most are influenced to be H5 haters all over this place (most without a damn good reason)? Even if a creature DOES look good from H5, you guys just cant admit it and just to be sick, vote on previous ones with nostalgia into account.
I at least admit theres alot of nice looking creatures from all of the games, though cultural advancement kinda manipulates me to think 3D is nicer, even if its refreshing neither I can admit the djinns or the gargoyles look too good :ill:

Sry a bit off-topic. But Im just not thinking it...Im saying it :hoo:

I like the sword of H5 Pit Lord but I like the colours of Pit Spawn more. So I vote the H5 Pit Spawn. And I think H3 versions do look a bit lame actually.

Why it's not called Pit Friend!? :-D
(innovative, one would say directly hellish perspective - but what could be wrong with that when they already offer hot baths, healthy pools, lava relax lakes, sins trial training and can donor you with a free forsaken palace for such a small fee... )

Make way for the hellish Prince of Torture,
the nasty big whip wielding incarnation of the Master of the Pit of Doom,
the Pit Lord of the Kreegan horde!

There's no doubt in my mind, the Pit Lord of Heroes III gets my vote by a large marginal. I like the unit's appereance and its special ability.
The CPU never lets down the oppurtunity to summon demons.
And why would it? Additional troops are always handy.
