Heroes 3 Lan Help

Unread postby zarakand » 17 Apr 2007, 15:42

Yesterday, I tried to play Heroes 3 via LAN with a friend. However, we were unable to get it to work via tcp/ip even though we typed in the correct IP address for each other's computers.

Both computers are connected via a router, and the game does not list automatically either. We did make sure the game was unblocked via Windows Firewall as well.

The last step we took was to open the following ports on the router 2300-2400 UDP, 28800-29100 TCP, and 47624 both as I found via Google that these ports should be open.

We'd love to be able to play HOMM3 complete again, if anyone can help us we'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

You must use the external IP-adresses (The ones the router tells the world you have).

Yep, what Pol said. Hamachi is the way to go:
