Heroes II - Price of Loyalty

Unread postby Ryuran333 » 07 Apr 2007, 05:08

I'm deciding whether I should by The Price of Loyalty or not.

Could anyone tell me what it's like and what are it's features?

The PoL campaign is pretty great. You get to play 4 new campaigns, 2 of which are shorter (4 missions), the other two longer (some 8-9 scenarios, IIRC). As is the case with all, or most, expansions, these are created for the more seasoned player and are more challenging. You also get lots of single scenarios, some new artifacts and adventure map objects. Oh yeah, and the Necro town gets the void tavern spot filled with a building that boosts necromancy.

It certainly is a good bargain, and I recommend picking it up.

In addition, you also get new town theme music.

It's also pretty fun to be able to get ghosts in Price of Loyalty..If you liked H2, then it's worth it, with a lot of new maps and campaigns to try out.

Right! How could I forget those? And great themes they are.

I didn't like the new town themes. So much so that I made a PoL disc that uses the original themes. Other than that, the expansion is definitely worth it.
