Should I buy Heros 3 Complete?

I heard u guys saying that Heros 3 is better than Heros 5 and blah blah and today I just saw the edition at the mall I visited for a bargain price of S$19.90 (which is US$12.55) lolz which is about what I'll use for a whole day for my 3 meals, transport and shit...is it better than Heros 5? If so I'd like to try and find out why alot of ppl think Heros 5 is worse than the earlier series.

I think you can't go wrong with Heroes 3.

Do you remember if it is 3do version or the ubisoft version? It's probably ubisoft version if you saw it at a shop. Some people say that you can't do multiplayer online with the ubisoft version. I don't know because I don't do multiplayer....*waits for somebody to clarify*

at least 70% of the forum users would probably agree, h3 IS better than h5. and dont forget to download h3:wake of gods expansion, thats great too! and free. but you need h3:complete first for it to install, so its a good buy.

Cyrox: H5 is only a stupid soviet copy of H3. Throw the Heroes 5 dvd (if you have it) through the window and buy Heroes 3. You will be satisfied - much longer campaign, much more scenarios to play, much more fun.

Is H3 better then H5? Depends. IMO, H5 is better and after few patches it could throw H3 into forgetfulness (only older members shall remember it).

Agree with Lucifer. It is still a classic. Even if you never play it and keep it in your closet, buy it. You won't regret.

Hmmm thanks for all the feedback. I think I'll buy it. And play it until Nival fixes Heros V right, if ever.

I thought Heros III was no longer available..until I spotted one LAST Heros III Complete "dumped" into the bargain price section aka unsold old stock.

Oh yea...and besides the Heros III Complete...was one LAST edition of Heros IV Complete too...but seeing so many bad reviews about Heros IV...dont think Im gonna get it yea...its going for the same price as Heros III Complete btw.

That one is a little tricky.Probably not as worth as HIII,it still is an excelent game.Though it is quite different. The best one you can get at the moment is the heroes complete, but its not so cheap.

I don't consider 20$ cheap, i'd suggest getting it for around 10. Then again money has a different value over here.

Buy it!

It is a very nice game to play, and at a great price.

H3 is probably the one game I have spent the most time playing - and the most social game too. Nothing beats a two-player hotseat game allied against the ai.
