Voted Heroes III

The addition of the Portal of Glory decided it for me. I really loved the Heroes I Castle too.

Heroes V was my vote. It's the way I see more accurate comparing to a fortress-like town.

Heroes 1 comes next, because it recall something really medieval in comparison to the real world.

Heroes 2 looked more like a camp than anything else.

Heroes 3, I liked it, but it was too jammed on a single place.

Heroes 4, again, no personality.

I didn't find this one too hard. H5, none of the others even come close. It looks like a real place, rather than an odd assortment of buildings laying around. It's silly how in all the other ones the fortifications are off to the side and aren't protecting the buildings.

The H1 castle is livlier to me while I think that the H2 castle was laid out a little better. This is a virtual tie to me [leaning towards h2]

H4 suffers from its usual issues.

H3 isn't horrible but the buildings tend to run together [look too similar].

H5 looks impressive but it gets huge negative marks because the buildings are not distinct. While this isn't horrid considering that you can go to the build menu it would be nice to tell one building from another easily.

i voted for H5 haven cause it's just perfect! the buildings are awesomely arranged and the it actually looks like a town with all the houses everywhere
H4 one looks EVIL to me for some reason, i dunno
H3 one is pretty good and it's my second place. the H1 and H2 are just random

H5 offers a stunning vista, but all those boring brick houses and the unimaginative dwellings really bring it down.

H2, yet again, looks the best. All the buildings fit together well, and the picture is pretty and makes sense.

While I like H2 units and world map very much, IMO their towns look too lonely

H1 towns, on the other hand, looks rough but the units make them very townly I think;)

H3 is my second thanks to the best sky.

For those who played Warcraft 3:
Ever noticed how similar the human factions are with their units? peasants, soldiers, gryphons, priests, etc :)

Similiar? Nope. Besides the fact that it is the same art-style, units ain't similiar.
I am back and ready to... ready to... post things.

Angelspit put it well. The Haven of Heroes IV is boring as hell. Although the episodes 1 and 2 are not bad the way they are, I still think that there's something missing there... I have to admit that seeing units in front of their buildings as in Heroes I works to a great effect, they make the town seem more "alive". Anyways, there's still not enough competition for the 1st place, Heroes III's Roayl Erathian style is the winner here. That's what I always imagined a Knight's town to look like. Just gotta love that overall design and feeling.

Heroes 3 Castle is appeal to me

Heroes 5 versions look more or less like Minas Tirith (LotR... remember?)

H5 looks best with its statues and ornates, the other ones are too cluttered.

BTW a Haven city called Necropolis?

H2. It's cosy.
H1 seems oddly proportioned. H3 - I really dislike the Castle music and it makes me dislike the town outlook as well. H4 looks uninhabited. H5 is as pompous as the whole game.
