I am currently working on a new version (again...) of the Map. I tried to include most of your remarks, and a friend who has made numerous professional maps for PnP Role-Playing Games gave me valuable advices ^^

Marzhin, if you interested, check this interview, especially this:
The new world is called Axeoth, and it's a big place. MMIX takes place in a region called Chedian, on the continent called Rysh. We are across an ocean, and several thousand miles away from the continent Heroes 4 will be using.
and screenshots page

I read a similar interview a long time ago. I tried to be coherent with this info an I think it works (After all there IS an ocean between the lands of HIV and MMIX on my map - the eastern, unnamed ocean)

By the way, the concept art for MMIX didn't look too bad.

In my view of things, all of Waerjak's campaign takes place in the big area called Tribal Lands.

And a city in Tawnsi's map is also called Wataga. WTF?

How is called the city that Tawnsi must capture in her first map called again?

I used google not game to check this name, so page were it was maybe wrong.
I will check it directly in game.

EDIT:
Objectives from first Tawni's map: "Capture Both Frigiston and Yanathrae" (didn't find any city named Wataga on any of five maps of this campaign - but I could miss something).

Most times, unnamed towns are given random names, so it's possible that the name Wataga showed up in one of the maps but was given a different name in a later game. Just my Image.
