Heroes IV: no HD workaround?

Unread postby Romanov77 » 10 Jun 2015, 07:06

So, I've spent hours trying to run Heroes 4 at 1360x768, but all I got was a full screen with terrible stretching and very blurry.

Is there any working tweak?

There is no such thing and I don't believe anyone has skill to make it.

Too bad...the game was good and with Equilibris it is even better.

Unfortunately, the game not only looks blurry and stretched but it also looks like it runs at 5 fps, with almost invisible animations.

You should try playing with your graphics card settings, so that the game shows in the middle 1024*768 with two vertical black stripes on both sides. It will look sharp and play perfect.

I have a notebook from 2005 with exactly the same screen resolution. I can play Heroes 4 on it just fine.

Thanks, that's a good idea!

I will try to mess with the nvidia panel settings.
