Map Uploaded-Conquest of Betoria

Unread postby ByteBandit » 11 Dec 2009, 18:43

I have uploaded a map for CH. "Conquest of Betoria". This is the first map I have ever uploaded here. It was more or less a chance to get a feel of how to do it. I will be making it a habit to try and upload an H3 map once a week if there are no new maps that appear frequently for any Heroes game here. Thank you and play the map will you? ;)

Okay......I have done yet, another experiment. Bear with me, I'm new at this! 8|

I have uploaded the map 'Faces of Death.' This time, I wanted to do one with the underground and a mapscreen as well.

So, now I know what I'm doing........ ;|

(Despite it being an 'Art' looking map, it is fun to play.) Played it many times myself. This is perhaps the first 'Art" looking map ever made for HoMM3.

Stay tuned for a weekly map now.............

How about publishing a map or two from an old friend's personal archives? ;)

Can't you bribe me better than that? :D
Of course of course I can. :)
I'm on a big project right here right now. I'll give you a hint: Look in the HoMM2 section and see if you can spot something different. 8|

Bretoria is pretty good. I would liked to have seen a little underground. I'm about half way through it and so far very fun.

Jim Vogan, WoG mapmaker and Moderator on the WoG Archives, and I, have teamed up together to produce non-English maps into English ones. Our first debut is "Ad Hominem."

It was originally a French map. The map is in English, but we have included both a French and an English text that can be swapped out with each other to be played within the map.
We hope to bring some excitement back to older maps this way.

I got three nearly complete map projects resting here on my harddrive. The maps are for Heroes III:SoD, two of them being sized XL and the third one not falling far behind as it is an L sized map. The maps are:

American Civil War CSA (U.S civil War part II)
Imperial Days (Roman Empire themed fantasy map)
Prime Suspect (Sighisoara Team project, stand alone)

Also, these projects are partially finished, although far from demo status:

Mesopotamia (satirical take on G.W Bush's War for Iraq's oil)
Helsinki (map based on my home city)
Antarctica (South Pole themed fantasy adventure map)

Code name: Operation Red Beard is a visionary campaign where seven western state's military alliance seeks to overthrow a powerul eastern dictator and his totalitarian empire of evil.*

*This campaign is based on a true story

I'm giving a small teaser of the Translated HoMM3 Maps Page. If you can find it, you can view it and grab a map or two.....for now. :)
I'm opening it up so Jim Vogan, translator from the Translation Team, can look at it. As soon as he's happy with it, I'll close it for further work. So get a few HoMM3 maps not available anywhere while you can! (You may just have a few hours only)

EDITED: I have closed the Translated HoMM3 Map page to the public for now. We will reopen it once 20 or 25 maps are on it.

If you are interested in helping us with this process contact me and I'll put you to work....err I mean play...... 8|
