Name pronunciation

I was always curious about how to pronounce some of the names in the series (especially after hearing RPGenie pronouncing Jadame as "Jaadamee"). Bink player is acting up for me as well, so I can't really listen to what the HoMM3 subtitles say. So it would be nice to hear your thoughts on correct pronunciation of these words:

Jadame. I initially thought it should be "Dja-DAA-m", yet the text to speech program here suggests "Dja-DAE-m". And, as mentioned, RPGenie says "DJA-Da-Mee".

Deyja (or DeyJa?). My first thought was "Day-EE-dja", RPGenie says "DAY-zhia", the program suggests "DAY-dja" (or "DAY-aah" if written as DeyJa).

Avlee (or AvLee). I think it should be "Aav-LEE", RPGenie says "AAV-li", the program suggests "AV-li" or "Eh-Vee-LEE" respectively.

Axeoth. My idea is "AXE-eh-oth", the program suggests "Eeh-g-XEE-oth".

Eeofol. I think it should be "EE-oh-foll", the program suggests "EE-ooh-fall".

Quixote. I'm now convinced that it should be "Kee-HOO-tee", although my first idea was "Quicks-OOT".

Another interesting thing that I didn't know was Enroth - it's "En-ROTH", I always thought of it as "EN-roth". Or maybe the kingdom is enROTH, yet the world is ENroth?

I'll probably remember more words later, though You are free to suggest them too

Most of the names you mentioned are pronounced a few times in the series:

Axeoth
Deyja
Eeofol (but it differs in Armageddon's Blade and other campaigns)
Enroth

Jadame and Quixote aren't, but Quixote's gotta be a soundalike to Don Quixote (KEE-O-tee).

AvLee sounds just as it reads. Av-Lee.

So, I'm right about Eeofol and Axeoth. RPGenie is right about Deyja. And Catherine pronounces Enroth as EN-roth, yet in MM6 in Castle Ironfist they obviously say En-ROTH.

Well, to establish some sort of ingame rationale for that, Catherine is a foreigner as far as Enroth is concerned. They must simply pronounce it differently in Erathia - around nine hundred years of continental distance will do that to you

Well, she's a foreigner from Enroth's point of view, but she lives on Enroth, for her whole life. Sounds strange eh? But that's true if the first Enroth is the continent, and the second one is the planet!
It's strange that the newcomers from VARN didn't have enough imagination for their names, though. I'm surprised that Free Haven isn't called Enroth as well Would be an interesting address: the planet of Enroth, continent of Enroth, kingdom of Enroth, city of Enroth, street of Enroth, flat no. Enroth (alphanumerics ).

too bad I can't type phonetic symbols, but, but here is how I have always heard it:
Re - kwee - em
single "e"s are short (as in "bed"), doubles are long (as in "feel")

I think the emphasis should go on the first part of the word, Re - kwee - em. At least that's how we say it in Lithuania. "Rekviem".

I always thought of pronouncing Jadame as DJA-daa-meh. If it were as Dja-DAA-m or Dja-DAE-m it just kinda wouldn't make sense if compared to other name pronounciations.
