H3 FTW! It's EPIC beyond words. B-)

H4 is a very close second.

Although H3 music is inspirating and H2+PoL is beautiful, the H4 theme IMO is more "barbaric" than the others.

Price of Loyalty's Barbarian Theme is the best, hands down. I love duets.

Heroes III Stronghold is one of the best, most inspirational themes in the entire series as far as I'm concerned. Captures the faction perfectly.

Heroes II is a distant second, but it isn't really barbaric enough to fit in for me.

Heroes V I just dislike on the principle of the faction itself. This is a faction of Barbarians, not a horde of W3-esque Orcs dammit.

To be fair, the Barbarians were only ever heroes and never actually units in an of themselves (except for in Heroes 4). Any nobody ever said the barbarians had to be human =D

1 for me.

It's just so darn catchy, I never tire of it.

I use all four HOMM1 town themes their corresponding town themes in H3 (yay for MP3s)

I don't play H1 anymore though... gameplay is too dated, I stick to H2 and H3

Sure, but we didn't have a single Orc hero 'till 4, and even then they were bipedal pigs, not Thrall II and friends!

I honestly thought some of the green skinned heroes in H3 were orcs. Were they all really only goblins and ogres?

HoMM3/HoMM4 for me. Yea, HoMM5 is too evil for barbarians. Others don't sound barbaric.

H3. I mean, hot damn. Hot. Damn. This is probably the best town music in H3, which is saying quite a bit.

I'm baaaaaack!
