Genie heroes

Unread postby Deni » 25 Feb 2006, 19:19

We all know that there are heroes that are genies. But in battles we see that genies (the troops) have no legs, and I asked myself how can genie heroes ride horses when they have no legs.

Have they legs? Ask Pitsu or Sir Four ;)

Also, ...they maybe connected directly, through theirs whirling part. (Or the horse is only tricky illusion, ya know, Genies are like that... :x )

Yeah, in reality, the horse is an illusion, and the sound you hear as it goes by is the genie clapping coconuts :D

Well, that's a good question, byt mabye they use magic to look like humans...

More puzzling is the case with chaos efreet-heroes, are nightmares-horses fire resistant?

It would be nice to see heroes on the adventure map and in battle have unique appearances, though this would mean extra work for the artists.

...It'd even be fine (with me at least) if they'd have a different hero appearing on the screen for different races, like genies, minotaurs, and the like. Hmm, a centaur hero would be cool...

I agree. It'd be great. also for medusa, vampire, imp, ogre heroes :)

Considering TGS and WoW heroes it's probably possible, and this case might be posted in Equilibris section.

Moreover, mabye pocessed artifacts (weapon, shield, ranged weapon; mabye also helmet?, cloak?) could be seen on battle screen making heroes more unique.

Those are all great ideas. I hope at least some of them are implemented one day.

And all the technical aspects will have been dealt with in Heroes XXXVII:

What's wrong with this url? it won't work if I use the tags on it.

It's too long to put without tags. I've tried, and the page opens, but at the top, not at the middle, where the necessary chapter is.
