Oh, I forgot to say I found out the reason for that. My connection came with a sort of quality/speed software that affects (you guessed it) the quality/speed ratio of loading pages. Someone had messed with it and put it on high speed/low image quality and that caused some of the pictures to look different.

Yes, that someone was me.

that's pretty cool, but certainly wouldn't look as good if it was adopted here and the palette swap takes place :) all blue would lose something I think
