The Battle for Middle-earth II Demo

Unread postby Crusard » 13 Feb 2006, 23:07

Has anyone played it yet? I fell in love with it's ambientation, it really makes you feel you're watching the movie. The graphics are OK, they probably look a lot better in the higher configurations, and the sound is just amazing. The music, ambient fx, and the voices are all flawless, and give a lot of atmosphere to the game. As for the strategy elements, I like the land-based resource-gathering system (used in the first game, i think?).

You can get the demo in the official site here: http://www.ea.com/official/lordoftherin ... wnload.jsp

I might consider giving the first one a shot. Its price has decreased recently, and it's available on a single DVD. But I will probably wait for Heroes instead.
I'm on Steam and Xbox Live.

From what I've seen of both games, I'd put my money on Middle-earth. ;|
You can even make your own heroes, their looks and skills!
