We've got some snow yesterday in Belgium, but in reasonable amounts. And the sun is shining today (a rare phenomena in Belgium :p), so I'd say it's quite a pleasure to look out the window. :)

It's bloody raining while there's still snow around... and of course now it's slippery everywhere.... and tonight it's very likely to freeze...

Still lots of snow outside. And about -10°C, so the snow isn't going to melt any time soon. :)

In the middle of a very large snow storm in the US mid atlantic, this is our third storm in a week another due Tuesday/Wednesday. The schools were out most of last week and the long term guess is they will be out for a while yet. I don't mind that but I am trapped in my house at least for a couple more days. 8|

Really cold, but the sun is shining brightly and warming things up. Really nice.

No snow today but the temps will be below freezing all day. Snow plows won't get to my road for a couple of days and more snow is due on Tuesday. There is such a thing as too much of a good thing. :|

It's been warm and stuff was was melting a few days ago. Clear blue sky, almost spring. Then yesterday evening as I was going out it started snowing with huge flakes. Now I'm at my parents' in the mountains and it's a winter wonderland. Luvin' it :)

Virginia, we have them but they work all the primary and secondary roads first. They try and get to the neighborhoods within 48 hours after the storm ends. This storm was near record levels of snow. We got about 50 cm of snow with this storm which was preceded by a smaller storm a few days before. Usually the plow crew do a good and quick job, but this time they are overwhelmed.

What about those ginormous 4x4 cars with tyres the size of Godzilla? Oh, that's right, they're useless. :D

So, we Norwegians are always giggling when Californians etc. get snow, seeing as they're not used to it. But Virginians - you get snow more frequently, yes?

We do but usually in small doses. A big storm may drop 18 - 20 cm. This storm happens less than once a decade, so local governments do not invest to handle such a large storm. Oh well I teach so I get a few days off. :D

I was born on the east coast but moved to California while still in elementary school. One week after we moved it snowed in San Jose for the first time in almost 20 years. It was less than 2 cm but caused chaos. :loll:

It used to snow like it's doing now every year when i was a kid (well minus the times when it went over 0 degrees C a few times this year), but now everyone is "OMG hard winter etc."

Bloody annoying.
