Do you play heroes or might and magic anymore?

Unread postby PhoenixReborn » 19 Jul 2008, 16:25

I've noticed mostly people hang around the campfire.

There's a few who play heroes 5.

There are some heroes 4,3, and 2 devotees.

There are even fewer people who play might and magic. I recently finished 2 of the MM games, 4 and 6 and am working on 7. There's some more interest with the new mod.

I play some heroes 5 online for fun.

How about you? Or have you all lost interest in this "old-time" series. And you just come to hang out.

I play only Heroes 5 sometimes. No other Heroes or Might and Magic *

* that's because I have only Heroes 5 :ashamed:

Only geeks may find out what I said above!

And damn, I voted Yes by a mistake :disagree:

I've turned my back on H-V, and Tribes will be the first expansion/game in the series I did not buy. I play H-IV a lot, but mostly testing and retesting my campaign. 8|

Never played M&M

I saw some screenshots a few years ago, and I didn't like it.

I prefer Heroes !

(and I'm proud of it!)

Well that's just silly Lord Lakely. IMO Might and Magic 6 is more fun and enganging than Elder Scrolls Oblivion.

Well Asheera, are you not counting heroes 5 as part of the might and magic series'?

There's no reason not to get heroes 3. It's cheap, fun, and well-liked by most people.

I'd also recommend MM 6-8.

What do you mean? Are you talking about the fact that I wanted to vote "NO"?

I thought this poll is about M&M and not about HoMM. If it is about HoMM & M&M then I'm satisfied with my "YES" vote ;)

To put it another way. Graphics don't mean anything. You said you saw a screenshot that you didn't like. I say the games are fun anyway.

Recently I've played Heroes III-V and MM6, 8 and 9. MM 7 I can't seem to find.

Yes, I'm still playing homm3. It's fast, it's good, it's sleek. Almost like a chess. :D

Mainly Heroes 3 (sometimes with, sometimes without WoG), and sporadically. I'd love to give Heroes 5 a chance, but my computer can't handle it.
