And what is that supposed to mean? Shakira is a very talented person, and it deffinately doesn't hurt that she is very attractive also :).

What I like about her most is her voice. Especially when she sings in Spanish.

She has a great voice, and some of the best hip movements out there. And though I like her singing in english (because I can not speak spanish) I do still enjoy her Spanish songs (even if I don't understand a word). Maybe not as gifted as Amy Lee (imo) but still a very nice voice.

Shakira does have some talent, but i wouldn't put her at the top of any list.

except maybe a hip-shaking list??

she's alright to me but that's about as far as I'd go

as for singing voices, Anastasia has an awesome voice, she can really belt out a tune!

I was stuck in some pretty ugly traffic today and the cd change was necessary .... swapped out Evanesence The Open Door, for some old school G'n'R Appetite for Destruction

Shakira doing Back in Black! I will admit though that the eye candy is better then during an AC/DC concert, but it's just not the same!

I love her voice too. No shakyness, nothing. But her songs and the music? Not too big a fan of that :disagree:
But cheers to her for making it through breast cancer :hail:

As for strong voices that come with music I actually enjoy a bit there's Christina Aquilera. Her voice is magnificent! :)

 Aguilera. With a G.

On topic: I like her song Beautiful, it's really inspiring.

Now listening to Haggard.

That reminded me an ex-Haggard singer... There was a sample of a song with her voice on another bands website, but unfortunately not anymore. But it is makes such sense for HoMM (or Homm 4) players..

Long ago on the old board someone posted a link to Darkseeds song Rain due to its relations with HoMM music. I never got the link there working and although I have that song on a CD I am not sure what was meant with the Homm reference. "Rain of Revival" on the other hand makes me think differently.

Edit: More about Darkseed : http://www.darkseed.com/

It's music related so thought I'd post it here, for those of you who have Idol competitions on telly, who writes the songs for the winners?? The lyrics are always crap, it is guaranteed to be a ballad, and generally is pretty sucky all round!!

Christina's only problem is she came out when the world was crazy and Britney was huge (what were they thinking?!). So sadly her talent took back stage to flesh and flash. If she had came out once Brit was in obscurity (aka with K.Fed) she would have been much bigger.

Pink is amazing, and I love her messages. She is also sexy despite herself sometimes. She can be a tomboy all she likes, will buy her records until she no longer sells them. Also she is funny and sarcastic, who can ask for anything more? (U+ur hand is just hilarious). She is about girl power (and no not spice girl like though they rocked too imo).

There are a lot of females that are worth a mention, so I wont try to list them. Some of the guys really can sing also. I am especially a big fan of the Powerballads. For reference sake though singing is not. 1) yelling at the top of your lungs without rythm or beat (not that I don't like heavy metal because some actually try to have rythm and beat, others just yell and that is not singing). 2) rap (yes I like rap) rap is not singing, it has a rythm and beat but is just talking in said rythm and beat

Now to clear up something what I term heavy metal some don't. Iron Maiden, Twisted Sister, Pantara (spelling?) I like almost everything they put out. Don't know what category AC/DC or Kiss would fall into but like them as well.

A word of warning/caution... Britney is about to make a comeback, protect your children (or your parents, or whoever) NOW!
