You have one guess left. If I'm not a girl (or a member of the female population for that matter)...that makes me a...? ;)

And, yes...you could've used ionosphere, since even though it involves ions, it also involves the atmosphere, thus it is sufficiently different. :)

Anyways...

Scoreboard:

Elvin: 15+5+2+4+3
Omega: 14+4+3+5
Kalah: 12+6+5+3+3 8|
asandir: 10+5+5
Muszka: 10+3+4+5+5+2+3+6 :hail:
Koni: 7.5 (yes, I do realize it's STILL a decimal ;))+4+4+2+3
PhoenixReborn: 7+2+2+3
Ceres: 6+4+4+8
Pitsu: 6+3
Aluwa: 4+4+4
ThunderTitan: 4+5
Zamolxis: 3+2+2
Kareeah: 2+2
accabear: 3
Milla: 3+3+3
HodgePodge: 2

Words used: honorable, ablest, estate, stately, lying, ingredient, entertainment, mention, ionically, lynch, chicken, kennel, nelfinavir, virtual, allegiance, ancestor, torso, torsoclusion, ionize, zephir, hire, hireling, linger, err, erratic , tickle, lense, ensemble, emblem, blemish, misheard, ardent, dental, tally, lyre, lyrebird, birdie, dielectric, electricity, cityscape, scapegoat, goatee, teeth, teethridge, ridgepole, polemist, mister, misterm, terminate, tern, ternion, onion, ionization, online, lineage, kennel, nelson, sonar, narcotics, csardas, dashingly, glycerine, inefficient, entwine, twinengine, engineer, eerier, erase, secretary

Considerations:

electricity - I'm having a bit of trouble deciding whether it's too similar to dielectric...seeing as how a dielectric is an insulator and electricity is a broader term. I guess I'll give it the benefit of the doubt.

teethridge - Sly stefan...:devious: I was about to add you into my Naughty List, until I saw that the teethridge refers to the gumline.

ionization - What is with people and ions lately? Welcome to my list, my cupcake. :)

Round Penalties: Quite a bit more than 5 now... (7))

The Naughty List:

Milla (:devious: Hehehe...)
Kalah
ThunderTitan
Ceres
Koni
Muszka
Aluwa

Well, that ends Round 3.
The winner is...*drumroll*

Muszka!!! (with 38 points to his name, even with the penalties :)) :hail:

Guess who gets to post the first word of Round 4? ;)

As usual, if more than two days pass, the second place winner (in this case, winners Kalah and Elvin) gets to post (or rather, whichever of them posts the new word quicker after the two days).

Oh, and new rule:

The person who posts the first word of the round gets half of the word size in points, up to a cap of 5 points gained in this way. (example: humanitarian. The word has 12 letters, so the poster gets the maximum of 5 points)

I made up that rule to counter the antidisestablishmentarianism's of this world. ;)

Ok...happy posting guys! :D

I'm sorry, I don't know why I had the impression that you're female... Now I got smarter. :)

Though it's a good feeling that after so many mistakes I could take the lead... He he... It's gone, and you don't have to bow that much... I like equality.

No worries! :)

You do realize we have a Photo Album in this very forum to prevent these situations, right? (shameless lie...I'm just trying to get you to look in the thread; quite a few members have pictures in there. ;))

That was a short round... 'cause I'm pretty sure "nowhereland" isn't a word... :?

don't spoil the fun... havn't you read Peter Pan? It's kinda that... anyway, what does it matter what's the first word, I could use any 10 letter word, just to get my 5 points, because it's free... C'mon...

@winterfate
Oh... In that case, I think I put a small 'R' in the top right corner in a circle...
Now, for real, you're free to do that. I heard it when I was 14, I thought it worths remembering... B-)

Peter Pan lives in Neverland, not "nowhereland" ;)

I'm also wondering about rule #5 here... This turned messy.. start over?
