Well, Portugal lost their opening match in -04 to Greece, but went on to win their two next matches and win the group. Nothing is settled here, yet; the Swiss fought bravely, and the two favourites also have to face each other.

Next group, please!

The key match is the June 11th face-off between the Czech republic and Portgual. If that match has a winner, it is quite possible the group will be won by that winner with 9 points, and that the second place will be much closer.

And then disappeared for the rest of the match along with the rest of the Croatia midfield.Kalah wrote:Modric (the new Spurs player) scored on penalty for Croatia. Ice cold penalty, in the middle of the goal.
The Austrians were unlucky not to score in the second half. All in all, the worst game so far.
I'll bet the Turkish team will come out ahead of the Czechs.

Ah, no.
I'm with Holland (as long as they are not playing against Germany, that is).
This time they might actually get something done, since no one is really expecting it from them.
And make that FOUR favorites. The Romanians are no pushover. They won their qualification group with a win and a tie against Holland.
I'm expecting something like 2 ties today.

That's not too far-fetched... the Romanians have a solid defence and a decent goalie, but their unknown factor is the offence. I don't think they have the power to score against such a well-organized defence as the Italians'... but they might have a chance against injury-sticken France tonight. If they win tonight, the could break up the field and fight for one of the slots to advance.

You're way to optimistic with the Yellows...
And the Germans didn't played that bad either, you could see that because the Polish played well too, and still the Fritzes won.
