I never thought babies were that cute either, until I saw my own. Now I think they're all cute. :)

And welcome to the club ;) You'll soon have forgotten everything about your past life :D
Does she have an acceptible day-night rythm or does that still require some training?

Well, we feed her every 3 hours on the dot. She sleeps most of the time between feedings but is a little more alert now. We're trying to give her some more awake time during the day (particularly morning) feedings and trying to ignore her more during the night feedings. It's still pretty new to us. :)

Then I hope you get enough rest during the nights.
If you ever feel you've lost your way, try searching the internet for daily schedules and such. And don't be afraid to trust your wife :D
I've come up with loads of logic-based objections against changes my wife was planning during the past year and can imagine you will as well, but in the end, mother instincts are always right. Well, often.

Why not?
because it's a baby! I highly recommend a little research (for the parents, and parents-to-be amongst us anyway)

the most effective way to nurture your child is to allow the child to set the pace in some areas, like feeding, this isn't a free pass to let the child run the show either
