Is there any disease that is not influenced at all by psychological aspects? I don't think so.

Don't know if professional writers are better equipped deal with that (I bet they are though), but I would certainly be under a lot of stress when book after book of a series was relatively poorly received by the public and the need to perform well was increasing rapdily.

I agree, and if you actually go back and read them a second time, most people seem to agree they are a lot better, talking about the middle books here of course

Just a piece of news for the RJ fans, Brandon Sanderson has been selected by Harriet, RJ's widow, to finish the last book, he will of course be working from RJ's notes, recordings and the info passed down to Harriet and Wilson, and they are looking tentatively at a 2009 production date

Hm, interesting. I started on his novel Elantris a while back, but didn't find the time to finish it. It seemed rather good though, and I 'm looking forward to see how this turns out.
