Sorry to have arrived here after the thread got drowned in jibber jabber, but let me add my congratulations and best wishes. I know you're gonna be the best daddy ever.

Congrats!

All the best, have fun with parenthood. They may be annoying at first, but they're also cute, and you get to raise them like little minimes (or mini-yous, in this case).

Enjoy! :D

(EDIT: Yeah, this is my first post in 6 months or so, but heroes ain't dead to me... I'm holding out for DMoMM: Elements, and hopefully a MMX. Hopefully. If Ubisoft can pull off Assassins Creed without rushing it, then there is indeed hope for the MM IP).

Congrats. Had a baby myself in May. Heroes is the best game to play while holding a baby. With the long AI turns, there is a lot of good quality time. Make sure you buy a long enough bottle so you can balance the bottom of it with your cheek while feeding and still see the screen.

That's awesome advice. I will remember that come October. :)

October, already? Oh, man, time will pass really fast.

actually, no it's not at all, feeding the baby is a boobie job, not the bottle ;)

as a bonus leaves both hands free for Heroes

Agreed. Breast is best, but that doesn't work out for everyone (like us). Regardless, even those who breastfeed sometimes pump and have daddy do some feeds via the bottle.

Breast feeding doesn't work so well so we had to buy bottles in a hurry. Cleaning them, sterilizing them and preparing them takes much more time than I thought. But of course that allows me to feed the little orc myself, which is certainly a magic moment.

you're supposed to get the missus to do it AS! :)

bottle feeding sucks IMO, it's so much more work and expense when quite often the only thing missing from a healthy breastfeeding relationship is good support and help for the new mother :)

certainly is, and it's good for the dads to bond with the littlies as well

Much, much to late: Congradulations AngelSpit

Breast feeding is supposed to make babies more intelligent...

Anyways, keep a sharp eye out for the little one, cause it could get sick quicker this way.
Grah!

A fairly recent picture of the little orc, during a nap. He put his hand under his chin by himself, or accidentally I should say -- it's not a setup.

He's 7.1 pounds now.

Pondering on his next move? :) Peaceful.
I, for one, am dying to find out what colour they paint Michael's toenails.
