It depends, I believe the site policy is, if it's a legal bought and paid for download, then it's ok. They prpbably would prefer an active link not be given as this may tie up some of their bandwidth.

Had seen Chrono Crusade. At first it looks childish and shallow. But as it comes to the end, wow... it became serious. I liked that one. The only thing I hate about it is the Demon's chibi form and the nun is still a kid.

k Short summary
  • 1. GiTS (1, SAC2 , SAC movie, rest it's weaker) - this is how I should like it all
  • 2. Mononoke - good
  • Akira - weaker scenario
  • Titan ae - somewhere in the middle (but it's not anime, it's action sci-fi cartoon)
  • Nausicaa - good
  • Moving castle - good
  • 1. Full Metal Alchemist (fumofu) - superb
  • Irresponsible Captain Taylor - good in its own genre, but not my cup of tea (kids movies parody)
  • Evangelion - perfect but no sane
  • Laputa: Castle in the Sky - way good, but still with simple unreliable scenario, but it's taking a point with other ideas :D ;) ?
  • 1. Spirited Away - A very decent tale!
  • 2. Noir (Black Maiden) - quite good, just the end is a bit to be a predictable cliche.

tips to the future:
FLCL
Excel Saga
Bersekr
and of course I added a Chrono Crusade :D

PS The Evangelion would get a 1 rating, if someone wouldn't tried to cure his psychical diseases on it. I care about good scenario and ... you know what.

Or you could just watch the Sayan/Freiza Saga/s... then just look up pictures of the bad guys and you already know every other saga.

Watched Fate Stay Night. I can heartily recommend it, on my likness scale it's set almost directly behind the GiTS series. They both differ hardly in their genre, plot and such but both are monsters.

It's having scenario, and a good one! (though with some kid spots - it's mix from game actually). Splendid graphical and musical design.

And afaik its game ancestor have several ends possible. (Among the classic not cheery one.)

Hmm, seeing the end makes one think...

(PS The really original game is H-rated and in japan, in english these scenes were removed. As I heard I'm telling.)

Saber!

Fate Stay Night? I have heard about that from a friend. He said it's a good one. Last time I try to find a copy of it but, no luck. But since Mr. Pol recommended it, I guess I should dig some more. :D

Here's just one more thing which can be said to that. Main motto of all pure heroiness.

Saber:"U-u-u-u-j-j-i-i-i-i-i-i-i-i-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-r-r-r-r-r-r-g-g-g-h!"
:-D

The game is actually over the anime series. The game is complete, you don't miss anything and in point, main storyline (including fightline and loveline) is amazingly coherent.

That's not so in serial, as here are some elements from different game branches mixed. (Which is easily noticeable and a bit strange, though it moved me and I curiously seeked for more of it)

My ranking as for the game (visual novel, just few choices) is high. I can recommend if you have the time. With lot of clicking finishing my storyline cost me a bit over day of full playing time. Hence I guess it will be no possible for all, it could be about month normally, if you are disturbed by works and other people. Talking in real time it was for me about four days.

PS The language is splendid.

And also Heroic Age, from the distant past to the future. It's keeping a nice idea, wrapped up in stars.. ;)

He, he. There seems that I forgot to add a classic. So, to the wide audience, let unfold and everyone behold Slayers :anime:

Among with Ghost in The Shell they're one of the best. Although from a different sides of the genre.

Slayers are 'bout Lina Inverse, "Fire Sorceress" & her friends. Including some "Monsters" :D :P

Now possibly return this thread to a grave state where it was before..
