Fine here, almost instantaneous. It's not faster because there are tons of other pages and dowloads happening at the same time.

Err...how long will we be giving reports about the server? :)

Until a mod closes this, probably. Otherwise, it's just another Weather thread :)

After months of complaints about poor performance, it's nice to hear that things go well again. Better than ever I'm tempted to say.

Yeah but so as not to jinx it, best to say "For now...".

Though it is better than it's been in a long time.

No, why would it be? I was just making a supposition.

Why mention closings if you don't actually want it? If you don't want it closed, best not to mention it so as not to give anyone ideas ;)

... so as not to give anyone ideas.
Now I have the following image in my head: mods are a bunch of people yearning, dying, desperate to push the Close button at the mere mention of its name

It's not in my power to influence mods in what concerns thread closure, nor is it my intention. Tar asked a question and I just gave the answer that seemed most likely from my point of view.

If having to pay in gold pieces is any indicament of the level of technology involved, I fear the worst 8|

And rightly.

(Based on how much cost my last employer hosting - this one is still cheap, however here is not straight correlation between cost and services.. )

Yeah, especially if it's WoW gold...;)

The above statement is an obscure reference to the epic mount article posted a few months ago somewhere around here...:devious:

The server is working great now!!!

Pretty nice! :) :oex:
