Before you criticize someone, first walk a mile in their shoes. If they get mad, you'll be a mile away. And you'll have their shoes.

Woman arrested after shoddy cocaine complaint
A North Carolina woman was arrested after she complained to a police officer about a batch of "bad" crack cocaine she bought, authorities say.

Eloise Reaves, 50, approached a police officer on Friday in the parking lot of a convenience store in Putnam County and told him she had been sold poor quality crack and wanted his help getting her money back, police said in a statement.

"She then took the crack from out of her mouth and placed it on the trunk of Deputy Pedrick's patrol car," the police said.

The sheriff's deputy, Jeffery Pedrick, warned Reaves that if the substance tested positive, she would be arrested.

After a test came back positive, Reaves said the crack was a poor mix of wax and cocaine and that the man who sold it to her should give her money back.

She was arrested and booked into the local jail and has since been released.

Police also searched the man Reaves accused of selling her the crack, but found no drugs or money on him, they said.

Somehow people can delay death until they fulfil their last wish.It can't be a coincidence and the determination of their soul can get them through this.
May he rest in peace.

Wireless chess cheat banned
An Indian chess player has been banned for 10 years for cheating after being caught using his mobile phone's wireless device to win games.

Chess officials had been suspicious of Umakant Sharma's rapid rise in the game during the past 18 months.

The Indian Chess Federation's secretary DV Sundar says Sharma was found hiding a bluetooth device in his cap while playing in a tournament in New Delhi.

"He had cut open the inside layer of the cap, pushed the bluetooth device inside and stitched it again and pulled the cap over his ears so nobody could see what he was hiding," he said.

"It was very evident that this man was using the bluetooth to get the moves and someone from outside was also helping him."

Nothing to be surprised about. There will always be people that cheat but what is interesting is the creativity in some! This fella was an amateur, high school kids could think that and be better protected too :disagree:

In the USA - there was a rash of high school and college students text messaging answers to exams while in the same room with eachother. It didn't take to long for teachers to figure that one out.

Over here, there were a couple of girls wearing handsfree equipment and communicated during an exam... They used hijabs (muslim shawls) to disguise it, but they were caught because the teachers noticed them. The hijabs actually attracted attention, because the girls didn't usually wear them... :D

Puss saves family from house fire
A pet cat has saved four people from a house fire in Cairns, in far north Queensland.

The cat clawed its sleeping owner's face after his mattress caught fire at 2:00am.

The man then woke his family, who were able to escape the blaze and call fire authorities.

Robert White-McFarlane from the Cairns Fire Station says the home received only minor damage, but the blaze was probably started by a cigarette.

"The occupant was woken by the household cat which was scratching his face alerting him to the ensuing dangers," he said.

"There were alarms through the house but the smoke saturation hadn't reach the point where they activated the alarms in the adjacent room."
