This isn't a new thing to me but it's rather bizarre, or even grim.
I have psychologist friend, who practices in school. She told me this story some time ago.

About two years ago my friend was given a case. There was a 12 year old gypsy boy who was abused sexually by his father and probably by his uncle too. Although the situation was bad there was no proof what could stand strong in the front of the law court, so there were only two remaining choices. Either send some social worker out to the family, either talk with the boy.
The first was more than likely a suicidal situation without result, since there is no gypsy family would let any social workers in, but would rather beat the worker or steal his/her things.
Considering all this, they tried to talk with the boy. Gave no results at all. He didn't really understood the bad in his situation. So after a couple of months of try, involving supervisor psychologists and others, they dropped the situation.

After a year and half, my friend was invited to another case, in the same school. A 14 year old boy abused sexually some 12 year old girls and boys. Apparently it was the above mentioned boy. With this the situation become really sad, but without the state financing such solution it's a dead-born project. The only thing that will happen is that the school will try to defend the other kids, but what the gypsy boy will become, only future can tell.

The funniest thing about that article is this:

Ok, tell me this isn't the strangest 911 call you've ever heard. So bizarre it's almost funny. (You may have to watch a commercial first).

Well yeah, this is the Internet and all. Enjoy Coca-Cola. How can a mother remain so calm? I'm a PC. I'm speechless. Watch Fringe on FOX.

Straaaange 8| I think mommy was high or drunk or something. Possibly she was just very very stupid. She didn't sound too bright. But wow, how grusome to find your son like that :S

She sounded like she was ordering a pizza.

Not sure if it fits in the "bizzare" category, but still:

Bummer!

It's not a very good fake IMO... if the plane staying airborne with a single wing which isn't even kept horizontal wasn't evidence enough, you can spot it quite easily when the plane lands. No object travelling at that speed comes to a halt that quickly.

Not sure why but all we say comes from the media anyway.

1) The video is technically "media"
2) What do we know about all those flying stuff and dynamics? How do we know how a plane like that is "supposed" to land? From... media :P
All humans do is to go to a place, bountiful of nature, and live there. Then the human multiplies and sucks all the wonders there. They move to the next. There is one thing that works the same way as that: a virus.

It's elementary physics: an object moving at... some miles per hour can't stop on a dime like that plane did. It should have continued to move up along the runway. But in the first place, a single wing doesn't create enough lift for a plane to stay airborn, nor to make a controlled landing.
