They may seem like a silly question, but how is raw fish prepped for sushi?

I've heard about fish eggs. Not too keen on trying those. I would, however, try sushi, atleast once.

Yeah, Makizushi is the rolls. But sushi still "means snack and refers to rice" :)

There's one sushi place here that does wonderful makizushi with avocado, spinach leaves, tofu and I think carrot. I could eat it almost everyday if I had the money or the skills to make them myself... Aarh!!

I've always found it that way .... not my thing at all

last night was a t-bone steak and some beef noodles with onion, carrot, broccoli, spring onion and mushrooms, all done with oyster sauce, was nice indeed!

You've obviously never overdosed on the wasabi.

A friend of mine's parents where going to do their own sushi (which they hadn't eaten before), and bought the incredients. They figured that since the wasabi came in a rather large tube, you were supposed to be pretty liberal with it. They had to throw all the sushi away and order pizza instead.

Why did they have to throw away the sushi?

EDIT: I had written wasabi instead of sushi....LOL! :)
