Favourite singer or favourite artist? There are great artists out there who can't really sing, like Mark Knopfler for instance.... Well, singers:

Male: Sting. A very high degree of diversity.
Female: Anastacia. Great voice and amazing repertoire.
In War: Resolution, In Defeat: Defiance, In Victory: Magnanimity, In Peace: Goodwill.

Male would be Scott Weiland during the STP era, but I can't stand him with Velvet Revolver. Female is more difficult, Bif Naked or Shirley Manson maybe. There should be more rock bands with female lead singers. My answers would be completely different if we were talking about musicians.

Male: Chino Moreno
Female: Shirley Manson, with Fiona Apple being a very close second.

I agree with that statement about Scott Weiland. Velvet Revolver just can't compete with the Stone Temple Pilots.
And the chickens. Those damn chickens.

Male: Xzibit. I want a voice like that.
Female: Shakira.
Simmons: I think you’re asking me if these computers store all the data on Red and Blue armies?
Sarge: Control Alt Bingo.

I think I'll go with Aretha Franklin and Otis Redding. (Though Sinatra and Ronstadt would be close.)

My niece once dragged me to a Christina Aquilara concert, and believe me, I never felt so out of place. But I must say that girl has the pipes.

Male : Garth Brooks.
Female : Ok so this is not so easy to choose. However I will say Amy Lee.

Contenders (to me) for the title of favorite Female singer : Gwen, Beyonce, Shakira (even when I CAN'T understand her), and the lead singer of the PCD (sorry don't have a clue what her name is). Now Susan Hoff (think that is the name of the Bangle's lead singer), Madonna (sometimes), and Kelly Clarkson get honorable mention also.
Warning, may cause confusion, blindness, raising of eybrows, and insanity. Image
