Well, while I think about it...it's time for another interview .

Today I will be interviewing Elrath (yes, the one and only). After all, thanks to him, Laszlo was slain:

I ascend to the highest point of an Altar of Heavens:

winterfate: *screaming* Elrath!!!
Godly Voice: Who's calling?

winterfate: Are you Elrath?
Godly Voice: Yes, and you are winterfate.

winterfate: How...
Elrath: Did I know? I am a god after all. I also know...

winterfate: That I'm here to interview you?
Elrath: Yes. I'll allow you to ask away, even though I already know what you're going to ask...

winterfate: OK. Question one: What happened to the angels in HoF? Why did they leave the human's side?
Elrath: Well, you didn't expect me to allow Biara to corrupt them, did you?

winterfate: Well...
Elrath: She's pretty good at what she does, I'll say. Offered them infinite power and cookies...

winterfate: Cookies?
Elrath: Chocolate chip cookies...

winterfate: I...
Elrath: Not you too! Why does everybody love chocolate chip cookies?

winterfate: I don't know. Question Two: Why did you help Freyda?
Elrath: She was worthy.

winterfate: And?
Elrath: Need I repeat myself?

winterfate: Yes!
Elrath: She was worthy...

winterfate: Are you...
Elrath: Silence! Nival had NOTHING to do with this. I am a Dragon GOD!!!

winterfate: Um. Yes, the Dragon of Light. This anger is hardly fitting...
Elrath: Dragons of Light feel anger too...

winterfate: I guess so...
Elrath: Ask your next question...

winterfate: Right. Number 3: What does the next expansion pack hold?
Elrath: A new race, new bugs, new terrain...

winterfate: That is SO descriptive...
Elrath: I cannot see into the future.

winterfate: Are you sure that N...
Elrath: Again you insist in saying that Nival holds sway over me. That is impossible! I am...

winterfate: A Dragon God...blah, blah.
Elrath: Heretic, blasphemist! *summons 2 Archangels* Capture him, and bring him to me!

winterfate: No, you don't! *casts Town Portal*

I escaped the wrath of Elrath. Who would've thought that he could be so vengeful?

Consequences hmm? Well I think you know what I think about that. In fact, I think it is time we had a contest. Winner names their prize whatever it may be. (I plan on having you do an interview with Jhora and Freyda simultaniously!). The game is simple enough. An original interview with none other then Godric. Now I know he is no longer ammoung the living, but I doubt that will be much of a problem. Oh and just because I am confident of my winning, I will let you decide who wins the contest. That's right, you get to decide the winner. Good luck.

I would've written this sooner, but I was participating in Round 2 of the RTO . (Are you going to participate in that one, Misty?)

Anyways...here we go!

Today, I search for Godric's tomb. Why, you ask? Well, to find out his opinion on Freyda's relationship (and odd love triangle), of course!

I arrive at Talonguard's cementery. I see a tombguard guarding the cementery gate.

winterfate: Good day!
Tombguard: Good day!

winterfate: I need to speak to Godric.
Tombguard: Um...

winterfate: Oh yeah, I know he's dead. That's the reason why I carry this around with me *I hold up a Rod of Resurrection*.
Tombguard: Hmm...well...I guess so. Godric was one of the best knights we ever had. A model of perfection. A paragon...

winterfate: Ok, ok...I get the picture. Can I pass?
Tombguard: Oh sorry! Sure, go right ahead!

I pass through the gate and shortly find Godric's tomb, well-adorned and furnished will all the care he deserves.

winterfate: Hmm...*I use the Rod to cast Resurrection*

Five minutes later:

winterfate: Phew.... Done!

Godric rises from his grave.

Godric: Huh, who took me away from Elrath?
winterfate: I did!

Godric: winterfate?
winterfate: How did...

Godric: I know? Well, when you are the paragon knight of Elrath, you get perks...
winterfate: Perks?

Godric: Well, I can't explain them. Let's just say they are godly. Griffin Eternal!
winterfate: Oh ok! So, I'm here to...

Godric: Talk about my daughter? Ok. Shoot away. Griffin Eternal!
winterfate: Ok. Must you keep saying Griffin Eternal though?

Godric: Yes I must...Griffin Eternal!
winterfate: Oookaaay....Question one: What was your reaction when you found out about Freyda's relationship with Jhora?

Godric: Um...er...
winterfate: Well?

Godric: Concerned...
winterfate: Huh?

Godric: Concerned...I felt concerned. I had never seen such...methods before.

Godric: Yes, why just last week, Jhora...

Godric: Going to "TMI"? Ok..sorry. Anyway, to put it in a kid-friendly way, Duncan is too much of a womanizer...

Godric: Yeah, he has exactly 17 lovers.

Godric: 17 lovers, and as we speak, hitting on number 18.
winterfate: Oh boy...

Godric: Ok.
winterfate: How's Elrath doing?

Elrath: *roaring* Willing to force you to live a life of eternal servitude if you dare mock me again.
winterfate: Why hello to you too, Elrath! That isn't...

winterfate&Godric: *in unison* very Dragon of Light-like...
Elrath: *calming down* Well, just make you sure you don't repeat your transgression again, agreed?

winterfate: Sure. I meant no offense, m'lord.
Elrath: Well, it doesn't matter. One day you'll have to come up here...

winterfate: Umm...
Elrath: Would you calm down? I'm not going to hurt you! Do I look like Malassa, that evil hag of a Black Dragon God?

winterfate: Um...I'll be leaving now!
Godric: Sure. I'm going back to Elrath now. Griffin eternal!

With that, I leave. I hope I don't have to meet Elrath in person in a long time .

Seriously? He dies in the expansion pack, tortured by Biara's (disguised as Isabel) Haven prison guards.

And Freyda gets resurrected too...Nival has a weird way of making new plots...

I wonder if they toss a coin to find out?

Well, no need to buy the expansion now. The truly amazing story of Heroes 5 has now been ruined for me.

If it's any consolation, the expansion pack storyline is better than the original sotryline (but then again, that's not saying much is it? )

Unfortunately, that really doesn't say anythign to the quality of the story. My God, they couldn't even figure out Biara's disguise!

Thanks to an oversight in Laszlo's biography, it took me a grand total of 1 mission to figure it out (the bio says that Laszlo has been corrupted by Biara...or something similar...).

Now, that is a well hidden plot twist!

I think of the story as another corner Nival cut. Don't want a good plot getting in the way of a game.

Well, besides that first round...

I expect to get top marks during this second round, because I found all the flaws .

I just hope I'm right.

I would have been good at finding flaws, because I can be pretty critical. But we are getting a bit off topic aren't we? I don't want to see this thread get derailed.

Been seriously under the weather so this might be a very short and one sided contest. Here goes however.

Anchorperson : Today we have a very special treat for you. Mytical, our partime interviewer is going to beyond the veil to meet with Godric. This does not happen often, but it was Godric's insistance to send Mytical. Lets join her now.

Mytical : So, you requested me specifically. Why is that?
Godric : Because it was you. You put those ideas in Freyda's head.

Mytical : What ideas? I have no idea what you are talking about.
Godric : Those ideas. You know, the ideas about Jhora? It's agianst the Dragon of Light's teachings you know.

Mytical : Is that what this is about? Aren't you happy for your daughter? She is rid of that louse Duncan, who has at least 1 woman in every town, and probably some out in the wild somewhere.
Godric : Oh believe me, Duncan is the last choice I'd make for her. However, I seriously don't think Jhora is an option. Doesn't fit the typical roleplaying game thing.

Mytical : How do you know about that? You are not supposed to know about that.
Godric : I'm dead remember? The dead know things they are not supposed to.

Mytical : Well don't you think it is kind of silly to have the women just waiting for a big strong man to rescue them? Why not let them do the rescueing from time to time.
Godric : Well..*clears throat* couple of words for you Final Fantasy X-2.

Mytical : You mean 12? What about 12?
Godric : No. Final Fantasy ten part 2.

Mytical : What about it?
Godric : 3 Female heroes, dismal sells.

Mytical : You had outfit changes, what did you expect? Only young girls, or people like me would care.
Godric : Still..proves my point.

Mytical : Guess it does, for now. Maybe a good rpg will come out with female leads. Dang our time is up, and we really didnt get to the good stuff.
Godric : Maybe next time.

Anchorperson : Will Mytical get to the bottom of the Freyda problem? Will she ever figure out what the problem is? Maybe next time.

However, I declare myself the winner of this contest. I would've wished for the other part of your interview. You had to put up more of a fight, Mytical . As for your consequence...I was going to let you off the hook, but a challenge is a challenge and I claim my prize. I wish to meet you face to face. I claim that as my prize.

Since you're older, I expect you to make the arrangements .

(In case it wasn't obvious, you can write for this thread anytime you like Mytical! You have proven your skill. ). And of course, it takes guts to do what you did .

Yeah, I have to agree here, not my best work. Ok, a deal is a deal. Though I think your prize is a bit much. Will send a PM with the details including some safety messures I will take. (like bringing a couple of my brothers...). You are lucky I was not feeling well. Might turn out to be interesting.

BTW, Mytical, why don't you write the Jhora and Freyda interview. I truly believe you can do it better than I can, seeing as how you have already written about it .
