The meaning of Celestial Heavens' logo?

What is the significance of the newly unveiled CH logo? There seems to be an inverted C laid on an H, but what is that quasi-triangular thing to the left? Pardon me if this has been answered somewhere else.

That "quasi-triangle" is the C, and the "inverted C" is a moon crescent, though what it signifies isn't altogether clear to me.

Hmm... Perhaps to signify "celestial"?

That clarifies it a bit. It's a little difficult to make out from the banner, though, as the three parts are not distinguished by distinct colours or transparency.

I've suggested in another thread that that crescent moon might symbolize the favour and blessings of the Dragon of Order... :-D

By the way, I'm browsing with Firefox, but some times when I open a new tab from the Round Table, it has the old CH logo, and other times it has the new one. Although I have a hunch why it's happening, I'd like to know what the explanation could be. (didn't think this was a bug so I didn't post it in the bugs thread).

I don't think it's a bug either. I had a similar problem after uploading the icon. You should try clearing your Firefox cache.

I think it's a firefox bug. I know that once you've gotten such an icon in your bookmarks list, it won't update anymore.

The bookmarks list shows the new logo, but the tabs I open have the old one.

Have you tried emptying your the browser cache. As for bookmarks, if you add the page again, it will update the icon.

Emptying the cache solved the issue. That was the hunch I was referring to, actually.

Is the logo copywrited or something? 'Cause I'd really like a larger version of it to put on the desktop, or just to have it around for special occasions. :D

By the way, does this site have something similar to an anniversary/birthday?

Part of it comes from the picture found here. As for copyright, well, I don't think anyone is going to persecute you for downloading a picture and using it on the desktop ;)
