I'm going on holiday for a week. Beach and all. So don't expect to see me next week. Except if I find an internet cafe or something.

I'll be gone for the weekend. The teachers are going on this team building/ Christmas party trip to a hotel in the mountains.

Yepp, but I mean old people... At those days when I've been here day by day this forum was so active like a beehive. Now it's rather an abandoned mill...

I liked this place... it was small, and cozy... As I'm reading trough the posts from the last few months... barely a few post from those people I knew. I guess it was better when Corribus and Grumpy were arguing over the same thing in 20 pages... sigh....

Luckily, you are back! ;)

Well, I guess that's the way it is. I remember the olden days when the RT was still on Forumplanet, with such names as Gothrak and Psychobabble was on the top of the list of active users. People like ScarlettP and Panda Tar came in later, along with hyperactive Asandir, and some of them still pop in from time to time, but this was nigh on ten years ago, and people move on. It's a natural part of Real Life. Even Angelspit has started to prioritize family life over the forum.

Nostalgic? Sure it is. But at least the Community here has a bit of history. :)

Indeed real life can get in the way of things... there's nothing bad at that. And a family has to be prioritized, it shouldn't be otherwise...

Gothrak... :) :hail: that's awesome... I've reed that a long time ago, but I forgot it... It's most unique.
Psychobabble. One word: Respect.

But I think they left before I came... I found this forum too late, mainly because my country didn't had a proper internet network.

Hm... There's a line in a song... unfortunately it's in my language, but I'll try to translate it: "there's something good in every era, what is good there and then, and it's beautiful because you cannot bring it back." It's a bit twisted but you get the point.

In all fairness, the games that brought a lot of us here in the first place (H2 and H3) are over a decade old now. It's kind of sad to think about that the forum really has changed since then. Let's face it, the Heroes series is just different now. Ten years is a long time.

I'm not sure that's really such a bad thing. The past should remain the past, and we can remember it with fond memories. :)
