Internet Explorer 7 is scheduled for a March release. The new version will focus on security, and will include tab browsing. A beta is already available if I'm not mistaken. I guess that would have been exciting news a year ago, before I started using Firefox.
I'm on Steam and Xbox Live.

The real good piece of news about IE7 is its support for png images which are very good for interfaces both for its compression and its alpha-blending.

Someday maybe there won't be jpg artifacts on my screen anymore. :-D

Mozilla Firefox 1.5. I do not have anything against IE but I would not use it again.

Wow... I would have thought Explorer would be killing in this poll. I use Firefox although I've noticed that I'm getting ILead popups now.

Any remedy?

I have Firefox and IE, Firefox being the main browser. I switched to Ff 2-3 months ago and I really like the tabs but I must say that for ftp's and for some sites IE is better. On the whole I cant't say that one is better than the other. If they implement the tabs feature in IE7 then for me it might be the optimal solution.

MOZILLA FIREFOX!

Unread postby HodgePodge » 17 Jan 2006, 20:50

I'm so glad that I have Firefox, I love the tabs and the ability to block ad (with Adblock). I only use IE when it is mandatory, like when downloading something from Microsoft. Otherwise, it's Mozilla Firefox all the time. :proud:

Corribus
I'm too lazy to do anything else. It's never been a problem for me.
Yes I belive that  :D

I'm using Galeon, not to widely used, heh?
It's linux browser only based on Mozilla, supposed to be completely compatible with Firefox but even faster, however without plugins.

When I'm talking about mod and extensions, for IE here is for ages the Maxthon. Even for the laziest ones B-)

Internet Explorer.
I have Mozilla Firefox, and I use it occasionally, but I actually find it quite cumbersome. It has problems with popups and with download managers besides its own. So I always use only IE, but I keep that firefox shortcut handy just to keep any firefox jihadists from complaining.

Firefox with FlashBlock.
There are a few rare sites where I still have to use IE - Microsoft and UK government stuff, mostly.

Does anyone know omnibrowser?
It's a very fast browser but their site is gone so you can only try it for 14 days if you find it

And I think avant browser is worth the trying to.

Why try it if only for 14 days? I want to keep using it if I take the time to get to know it.

So, 68% for Firefox so far. Not bad, compared to the official statistics of 8-12%. Anyone mind if I put the poll on the main CH page?
