Who is your 'Ideal 007'

Unread postby [T]osHiro » 23 Nov 2006, 09:58

Which actor would you prefer to star as James Bond? Since I have a different taste of '007 style', and since Rowan Atkinson has already done it in Johnny English, Johnny Depp will make a nice Bond. ;)

Sean Connery is the original and best James Bond to date. (IMO)

Only because Roger Moore will always be The Saint first. Pierce Brosnan did a pretty good job too.

But Johnny Depp wouldn't fit 007 imo. And it's the only one that counts.

I liked them all, including Roger Moore (who is the actor I associate the most to the character because that's the first Bond I saw when I was a kid.

Connery was Bond.

I'm eagerly awaiting the new film, though; I have a feeling this new fellow will be very good.

Like I said, I have a different taste of spy movies. :devious: But if we're comparing the old 007s, I like Sean Connery too.

well Daniel Craig copped a lot of sh!t for taking it on, but from all reports he does a great job

as for ultimate person to do the job, well I associate it most with Roger Moore, since that was my era, Sean was apparently the best, and Pierce did a reasonable job .... I really find it difficult to imagine someone else doing it

all I can throw in are a couple of possibles, maybe Hugh Jackman, or possible Hugo Weaving (Agent Smith for the uneducated)

How about Cary Grant?

NO.

Maybe, but Archibald is kinda too funny to be Bond. And for me he'll always be "the son of a sea cook".

I like the ide of drafting in someone who is not very well known (i.e. a super star) already, but is considered a good actor. Not as the case with Lazenby, who was just a model and a famous face - and turned out to be an abysmal failure.

So does he become your ideal 007 then?
