*giggles* Sorry, I am actually a huge wrestling fan. Hey I am a southern girl (who is big). That and I love watching the Diva's wrestle. Undertaker needs to do some scary movie, would do much better the Kane (See No Evil was pathetic). As for Hogan, yep big time. Rowdy Roddy Piper too. Rock was better in Walking Tall then scorpian king (imo), seen some small teasers of the Stone Cold movie and I think it will be a riot. He is actually funny :).

I want to see Grindhouse. Rose McGowen...enough reason to watch anything. (Though if I was forced to choose between watching somethin with her or something with Milla Jovovich, Jovovich would win.) (Leeeelllloooo) now that I have that out of my system...

Rose is in both movies. She the star of the zombie flick (as a one legged go-go dancer) and has a supporting role in the other one (as a victim). And I agree, she's a real dish -- she even made 'Charmed' watchable.

I recently saw:

Batman (1989)
Blade Runner

I'm glad I brought those 2 films, 'cos they're great!

Blade Runner is one of my favourites. Not for the story, but for the general atmosphere and great music.
Veldryn 15:15 And Vel found a dirty old jawbone of a walrus and put forth his hand, and took it, and in his unholy rage, he slew thirty four thousand men and children therewith.

The story too though, right?

I'm currently watching the Guns of Navarone. Great old flick.
In War: Resolution, In Defeat: Defiance, In Victory: Magnanimity, In Peace: Goodwill.

My girlfriend watched a sequel with her dad the other day (while I sneaked out of the room to watch the hockey game), a straight-to-video release featuring Kevin Sorbo. She said it was terrible.

The original Walking Tall from 1973 was WAY better.

Of course it's terrible, it's with Hercules... but was it good terrible or bad terrible?

How about awful? Is there any good kind of awfulness?

Still trying to find the time to go see 300, Grindhouse or Disturbia.

The trailer of Rob Zombie's Halloween is on Youtube if anyone is interested. I've been following the news on that movie, but the trailer just shows how pointless that remake was in the first place. Maybe I watched the original too many times.

I saw 300 a few nights ago...just awesome!

@Angelspit: I won't spoil it for you, but let me just say that the action is really good. :)

I think the main message ("Our emotions make us human") is a bit naive. I don't say it's a bad idea, but the movie doesn't really take this to a deeper level. It's only a simple story, full of cliches (especially of the film noir) of the man who falls in love with a machine ("the forbidden fruit"). It's enjoyable, but not fantastic. Like I said, it is still one of my favourites. Mainly because of the unique and futuristic dark world.
