So basically:
Rambo no longer kills people with his shirt off :D
Has improved killing skills.
Manages to avoid shots.
Still does not get any :devious:
I, for one, am dying to find out what colour they paint Michael's toenails.

Another helpful thing might be a list of things main heroes in action movies are still capable of with one or more bullet or knife wounds in leg, shoulder or torso.

That part always seemed a little fishy :)

"A little fishy" is putting it mildly.
I mean, either the hero(es)
1) are surviving any number of hails of bullets without a scratch or an ominous hole in some peace of clothing, signalling how darn tight it was or
2) are hit. Which happens rarely, but it happens. In that case no matter how bad the hit may look initially it turns out that the character was lucky because
a) the effects of the apparently immense blood loss are insignificant, however
b) no important blood vessels were hit;
however
c) even though there WAS a hit, it's unclear what exactly has been hit
because
d) no vital organ was damaged
e) there is no wound shock
f) the pain is negligible
g) no muscle has been seriously impaired in its function
h) thankfully no bone has been hit
i) the bullet has mysteriously disappeared without leaving an exit wound or
j) it's still stuck in the wound but doesn't interfere for the moment.

A little fishy. Yes.

True heroes don't concern themselves with minor momentary inconveniences such as bullets B-)

Reminds me of the scene in Pulp Fiction when Vince and Jules are fired at a couple of times at Brett's (where they are to liberate the case), but aren't hit once or even scratched and later on - after they've shot the guy - take a good look at the wall behind them and the pattern the bullets have left in it.
Hilarious.

I loved that scene. Seriously if that thing happens to you it's hard to believe it's just luck. The other one I liked was when he accidentally shot that guy in the car :D

Well, I like a whole lot more scenes from that movie than only those two (for a good laugh).

@JJ
Of course, they were just the ones that came to mind at the moment :)

About Rambo I only remember the original. I have probably seen 2 or 3 but I remember only bits and pieces.

I'm watching "High Fidelity" with John and Joan Cusack. Great book, great movie. I can't get over how alike John and Joan are.

I actually really dislike the movie's that show some guy (usually) get king hit in the head with a baseball bat/crowbar/shovel and then get up to continue .... :disagree:

He still has it :) I want to see that one, I have been waiting for it for some time.

Meanwhile I saw the latest Asterix, it was really fun :D It's one of those movies that can have you laughing all the time, Alain Delon was just superb. I kinda liked the first Asterix actor but the current is not bad and as for the cast wow. The appearances of Zidane, Sklenarikova and Schumacher were hilarious. The movie is loosely based on the comic and has some smart references.

Made me laugh, that's all I care about :) Hadn't heard about that though. Did you hear why? Sense of humour, the changes of the script, too flashy..?

I have seen zero Indiana Jones movies...

Have at me!

While we're at it, I haven't seen any of the Godfathers either...
