Getting colder now. 22ºC at most, still dry. Time to set up some blouses or else. ;|

Bright and sunny. The reindeer have come out to graze down by the sea. About 18ºC.

Here, ominous stuff awaits us. It was a chilly weather this weekend that dropped all the temperatures below 20. Right now, it's 17ºC. A very nice Extratropical Cyclone is coming this way this night, and there'll be 80 km/h winds here, a very annoying rain and temperature will drop a bit more, like 12ºC. :(

We had a big ol' tornado come through here. Heap of property damage but only 1 person was injured and nobody died.

Good to hear. Hope things get back to normal for y'all.
Meanwhile, the sun shines relentlessly and gives us a balmy 14ºC up here. I'm hoping it lasts until next week, as the advanced diving course kicks off. :)

Speaking of weather, what the heck is happening in USA? I've just watched on the news that a twister appeared on the water (what we call here Tromba d'água), a strong blizzard somewhere, 38ºC at south with a dowpour and they are saying it might have temperatures between 35ºC to -5ºC...gee. :S

There was a big thunderstorm this afternoon and, because of the strong winds, a couple of trucks fell on their side on the bridge. My bus goes through that bridge so I'm not sure when I'll be able to go back home. Damn it.

For what it's worth, I live in RI, USA. Temp today 97F. One city closed schools and a bunch of others had early dismissals due to heat. I never got let out when I was in school.

In other parts, the mid west continues to have severe flooding. I read on MSN that parts got 11 inches on Sunday. Also a blizzard on Mt Raniere killed one hiker and stranded 2 others. Rescures are waiting for it to clear to get helicopters in to rescue them.

Ans a final note on what's really important, in the last shipment of supplies to our base in Antiartica before the winter closes in down there, we shipped 16,500 condoms. Where were these jobs when I was young.

Really warm the past few days, around 28 degrees, and only 1 rainstorm :). BUT, tomorrow will be colder, and colder, and so on... :(!
