One word: sampling. I really hate it when some idiot talks about how he doesn't like old songs but still listens to them on the latest hip-hop album.

I heard they got the ideea during a concert where they asked the audience if they liked MJ, to which they all said NO. Then they played a bit from Smooth Criminal and the audience liked it. Idiots. :disagree:

A story of my brother's:
He was visiting our youngest sister, and her daughter was listening to a remake of _MTA_. Amanda was totally blown away when my brother started singing along.

I believe he then introduced her to the original Kingston Trio version.

Computers... especialy when they seem to fix themselves after you leave them alone for a few weeks. My bro managed to screw up the laptop too, but now his old PC is working again without him doing anything. Damn weird machines.

Maybe the Machine God doesn't like him.

I doubt he likes having me looking over his shoulder while he BS's some girl. And the proding while telling him to end it already must be annoying too.

As for you getting irritated: KILL HIM...

superfluous words ....

I keep hearing police reports that contain things like this, "We are looking for a caucasian male person in regards to this crime." What??? a caucasian male person??? as opposed to a caucasian male goat??? UURRGHHH!!!

Sure, you never know. Them caucasian goats can get into trouble pretty easily ;)

Another thing: typography. The newspapers here in Norway (that is, the people who make them) can't spell for shit! And I'm not just talking about typos either. Newspapers are full of grammatical errors like dividing up words and the like. And the parent generation complain that kids today can't spell because they adopt the mobile SMS language into daily writing...

Yeah, it just gets a little silly when youths are criticized for not being able to write proper grammar by people who apparently can't write proper grammar themselves.

I'm so happy that you guys have learned to deal with MY typos! :tonguehands:

I hate people who call me at work and ask "Can I ask you a question?"

:|

I always WANT to answer "Apparently so. You just did."

(FYI - Proper grammar is May I ask a question?)

typos on a forum are to be expected

and you can always answer, "You may." then not answer their question ;)

I got the same, but for customers who think their sob stories affect when I can schedule a tech to fix a fault .... it's all based on how much you pay people!

I have dial-up at home and good internet where I go to college. I downloaded Fall from Heaven (around 500 megs) with really good speeds before coming home today, but I forgot to download the Beyond the Sword patch (120 megs) it needs to work! I hate myself right now. :wall:
